Founded in 1845, University College Cork (UCC) is a world class university that maintains a rich tradition of teaching, research and scholarship. Located in picturesque Cork, UCC has a beautiful campus and a vibrant student life. UCC also boasts an international reputation which draws about 3,000 international students from over 100 countries from around the world!

UCC offers a unique and enriching study abroad experience. Students benefit from the rich cultural traditions in music, dance and literature. Cork is also widely known as "The Food Capital of Ireland" with a bustling city that offers all the advantages for the student travelers: parks, galleries, shops, restaurants, theaters, historic buildings and plenty of other recreational options. Any fees related to housing will need to be paid to UCC directly.

All students participating in study abroad will be charged both tuition and a program fee. Tuition is billed at the regular DePaul tuition rate based on the number of credits enrolled. Click here for the Fall program fee. Read the details carefully to understand exactly what is included. Please also note the withdrawal policy.

DePaul offers several types of scholarships for students studying abroad, and students should visit the scholarship page early in the application process for information on eligibility and deadlines. Students are also encouraged to speak with the DePaul financial aid office for more information about financing their study abroad experience.

DePaul Study Abroad is carefully monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and this program is currently moving forward. If the program is canceled prior to departure, students will be refunded 100% of the program fee and withdrawn from any associated classes with no penalty or tuition charges. Study Abroad has also modified the standard Withdrawal Policy, and any students who commit to this program and decide to withdraw 90+ days prior to the program start date will not be charged any withdrawal fees. If you are planning to study abroad and do not have a passport, apply for one immediately. Some programs require students to obtain student visas. In that case, contact the country's local consulate or embassy for up-to-date instructions. As of this publication, students on the Cork program DO need an entry permit. Once onsite, however, student planning to stay more than 90 days must register with the local immigration office, for which they will pay a fee of 300 euro. To find out more information about the visa process for your select country(ies), visit our Visa Information Page. Please note that requirements can change quickly. Study Abroad will update this website to reflect changes as they become available.
