Welcome back! Build professional skills, keep your experience alive, and help future students make the decision to study abroad by becoming an On-Campus Study Abroad Ambassador. Apply today!

Qualifications

  • Current DePaul student
  • Participation in any study abroad program, including non-DePaul study abroad programs
  • Passionate about study abroad and willing to share your experience with others
  • Acceptance for participation in the program by the DePaul Study Abroad office

On-Campus Ambassador for Study Abroad Responsibilities

Share your experience (choose one)

  • Create a video
  • Write at least three blog posts for The Sojournal
  • Author an article about studying or living abroad that is published in a campus newsletter or newspaper
  • Lead a table at a Global Coffee Hour to connect with international students about Study Abroad
  • Participate in the #IAMDEPAUL or @DPUStudyAbroad Instagram takeover if you are studying abroad again
  • Submit at least 3 Instagram posts for the @DPUStudyAbroad Instagram Account
  • Create your own! (Approval needed)

Connect with future students (choose at least three events)

  • Visit classes to talk about what you learned on your study abroad program
  • Answer questions and share tips at a virtual Study Abroad Orientation
  • Create a Study Abroad session as part of residential education programming
  • Attend a Bon Apetit and talk about your experiences abroad with local and international students 
  • Present your experience to an organization on campus
  • Participate in Lessons from Abroad Conference
  • Invent your own way!
