Program Description:
FY@broad and Identities Abroad programs are collaborations between Study Abroad and the Liberal Studies Program.  Students take a required seminar class during the quarter and then travel abroad with a faculty Program Director and a Staff Professional to the location studied in the seminar.
  • FY@broad programs provide international experiences to first-year students, by combining the LSP 112 Focal Point Seminar with a short study abroad component.
  • Identities Abroad programs are designed specifically for underrepresented students—including but not limited to students of color, first-generation, and low-income students—by combining the LSP 200 Seminar on Race, Power, and Resistance with a short study abroad component.
